Just passed by and almost passed up something really tasty. We got the lampredotto as recommended by the worker. Tender pieces of cow tripe Stewed in a delicious broth and topped with some spicy salsa. Do not miss this when going to the Mercato Centrale
Really delicious! This was the first time I tried lampredotto. I tried tripe before which is a bit chewy. This one (4th stomach) is softer. I had chilli oil and truffle cream with my one. It was also quite cheap! Recommend to give this a try if you are new to Florence.
Our first lampredotto in Florence. Was pretty great--good meat, perfectly spicy. Very busy around lunch time! Looking forward to comparing it to other sandwiches we try from here on out.

Lorenzo Nigro's Lampredotto, I can truly say it, it's the best version I've ever eaten.
Really AMAZING, sauces, bread, preparation: everything's is so simple but perfect in the mixture.
Really trust my opinion: it's the best Lampredotto in Florence, and probably in the world!
PS: the chef is alone at the cookingtable, so keep calm and wait for your turn patiently. No matter if you wait a couple of minutes more, it really worth the while!
